Your measured approach and calming influence at all times meant we felt safe and confident, throughout. Your ability to summon the weather gods to shine on us was very much beyond what we could ever have hoped for.

For me - the client- it sas the fulfillment of a wish made 55 years ago. I was 23 and driving round the highlands with a fellow medical student in my faithful minitraveller. We stopped to look at the imressively daunting face the Buchaille presents to the road. It was winter, snow was falling and no obvious route visible. I decided to put off a climb to another day. Thanks to Michael that day came. He took me on at 78 with a replaced knee of 6 months (which performed perfectly - name of orthopaedic surgeon on request) snd my 12 year old son. What an adventure. Climbing 1500 feet of steep rock into the cloud. No way off or down the curving ridge. Thank you Michael for a truly memorable experience and fulfillment of a wish from my youth.

I enjoyed my hike (on the Aonach Eagach) with Mike . I felt safe at all times, especially with the horrendous weather on the day. Lot’s of good chat too to keep our spirits up :)
